Vrouwtje (1939, Oudkarpspel N-H) heeft haar opleiding genoten bij kunstschilder Fok Koster uit Dirkshorn N-H., een leerling van
de oude meester Klaas Boot. Hij was tijd- en studiegenoot van de bekende schilders Kees Verwey en Anton Heyboer.

Een groot gedeelte van het jaar woont en werkt Vrouwtje in Frankrijk. De laatste jaren gaat haar voorkeur uit naar acryl
gemengde techniek. Haar grote schilderijen kenmerken zich door het zeer sterke handschrift en uitgebalanceerd kleurgebruik.
De afbeeldingen zijn hoofdzakelijk figuratief. In haar atelier in Frankrijk schildert zij zonder voorbeeld. Vrouwtje vindt het
belangrijk dat haar werk spontaan en naar eigen ideeën ontstaat.

Vrouwtje (née en 1939 aux Pays Bas) a suivi son apprentissage chez Fok Koster,
un contemporain de Kees Verwey et Anton Heyboer, deux artistes célèbres hollandais.

Une grande partie de l'année elle habite en France où elle trouve l'inspiration pour ses créations figuratives qu'on reconnaît
par sa technique forte et des couleurs harmonieuses. Depuis peu elle utilise de l'acrylique mélangé pour ses oeuvres
qui naissent spontanément d'après ses idées personnelles.

Vrouwtje (born 1939) did follow her education with Fok Koster, a contemporary of Kees Verwey and Anton Heyboer,
two famous Dutch artists.

A large part of the year Vrouwtje is living in France where she finds the inspiration for her large paintings, which you
recognise by the strong signature and balanced use of colours. Since of couple of years she prefers a mixed acryl technique.
It is important for Vrouwtje that her paintings spontaneously follow her ideas.
